Wednesday May 25th Anna Maria Island 8:00am Slight surge in easterly flow will warm up the GC quickly today. Slick calm on the gulf, which will remain this way through the upcoming holiday weekend. Looking at the latest model runs, the potential low off the east coast, has been HYPED away. Doesn't look like a full blown low spinning up, rather a disorganized area of WX, bringing unsettled WX to NEFLA. Ingredients are still there, but location and intensity are still in question. Truthfully, I'm liking the WX scenario the fist part of June with areas of low pressure in the Caribbean and off the Yucatan... interesting long term forecast for sure! For now enjoy the beautiful WX! have a happy HUMP day. -- Tommy D Gulf Temp 84°

EAST COAST SURF REPORT IS IT WORTH THE DRIVE EAST TODAY?
Wednesday May 25th Satellite Beach 7:15am Wndswell is in the waist high plus range with east wind around 12+ mph. Surf is not breaking off the local sandbars too well so there's not much for takers. A little scouting today may pay off. Low pressure is expected off the EFL coast this weekend bringing ENE swell, but looks like we'll be dealing with some wind.
