Monday February 8th Anna Maria Island 8:30am Waking up to a Beautiful morning that is the calm before the storm. Small knee/thigh high glassy surf lingering today maybe enough for the logs or groms, but for the most part its pretty small. Clouds will build through out the day, but without much rain. Gale warning in effect for later this afternoon as the NW wind line makes its way over Fl. Winds will continue to blow at advisory levels over night and into Tuesday, with large choppy, drifty surf. Wind blockage will be a mandatory! Surf will continue into Wednesday with cleaner conditions as high pressure again moves over Fl. Get ready GC, the big blow is coming! -- Tommy Daniels.
