Thursday April 22nd Anna Maria Island 8:35am A little shin high break is still out there this morning. Breezy winds from the north will switch the swell direction more north and could give us a little longboard wave for today before flattening out tomorrow. This weekend will see strong winds out of the south which will kick up a little wind swell, but nothing too big. Waves will be loggable if anything peaking out on Sunday. Expect breezy off shore winds and sunny skies for the remainder of the day. Local tides HT 10:49am LT 3:05pm HT 8:54pm Gulf Temp 77°

FISHING REPORT 4/16 - 4/22: Spanish mackerel and kingfish are chewing heavy around the shipping channel up into the bat and along the beaches on schools of threadfins. On the docks and seawalls there’s a bunch of snook and mangrove snapper chewing on live baits. The trout have been on the deep grass edges.
